"I'm the 2nd Gen of The Detering Company.We joined FBN-USA in 2021. I have been most impressed with its family-to-family focus. Since joining we have participated in online lunch and learns, a book club including going to San Francisco to meet the author, travel to a family office seminar at the Miami Hub, four learning journeys, an annual meeting, and the International Conference in Paris and Japan. This has given us the opportunity to meet inspiring people and visit incredible places. FBN will help us grow as a family, understanding our roles and responsibilities not only in our family and business but also our community and the world as we transition through generations."

I'm a 6th-gen owner and director of Siemer Milling Co. We've been members of FBN since 2012. We joined the network as my generation began to fully understand the responsibilities that lie ahead of us. We sought education on family businesses and the unique challenges they face, and most importantly, we joined for the peer-to-peer sharing and support opportunities. I was personally sold on FBN at my very first conference. From the moment I walked in, everyone l engaged with embodied the values of FBN. Although I was running late, a family at a table near the back invited me to sit with them. They shared some of their family business stories with me and included me in the conversation. FBN holds a space that is trustworthy. Members are candid and generous with their experiences, knowledge, and failures. I walk away from every FBN event feeling encouraged and more enthusiastic about the work of stewarding my own family's business.

I'm Colin Trabold, 3rd Gen of TontiProperties. We joined FBN in 2013. FBN has profoundly impacted my life in ways that are hard to put into words. The people I've met through FBN NxG Summits, FBN International Summits, Chapter Events, and informal FBN gatherings have left a lasting impression on everything I do. My journey with FBN began at the ColombianNxG Summit in 2015, and it was truly life changing-I met my wife at this event. Now, we have our own NxGs and work daily to raise responsible custodians for our family businesses.Our relationship and family were made possible by FBN, which brought us together as passionate individuals working towards common goals. We continue to be part of this network because it supports us in living out those goals.Through FBN, we consistently work towards the betterment of our families, our businesses, and the world in which our businesses thrive. FBN helps us ensure a bright future for our children as responsible stakeholders and leaders in family business.
